Boreas Maritime BV (crew agency) is seeking qualified maritime professionals for positions on a Tugboat/Multicat vessel. This is a temporary contract position with an EU-based rotation system.

- Salary/Wage: To be agreed (based on experience and qualifications)
- Location: Worldwide (with base in the European Union)
- Contract: Temporary 4-month contract with ON/OFF rotation (EU)

- Required Training: Official nautical training and STCW certifications required for the positions

Requirements
- STCW II/2 certification for Captain
- STCW II/2 certification for First Officer
- Candidates from the European Union only
- Previous experience on tugboats or multicats (preferable)
Responsibilities
- Captain: Overall command of the vessel, safety of crew and cargo, navigation, compliance with international regulations
- First Officer: Responsible for the bridge in the Captain’s absence, supervision of deck operations, navigation planning
- According to STCW II/2, functions include emergency management, supervision of watches, and maintenance of navigation equipment

- Updated STCW certificates
- Seaman’s book
- Medical certificates (including psychophysical fitness)
- Valid passport
- Visas according to destination requirements
