Chief Engineer for Containership in International Contract
Description of the position and key functions:
We are urgently looking for a Chief Engineer with a US visa to join a containership. The main responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of the main Wartsila 2-Stroke 7RT-FLEX82C engine on a vessel built in 2010 with a deadweight of 42,483 DWT. The professional will work with a crew composed of Eastern Europeans and Filipinos.
Requirements and qualifications:
Fluency in English. Valid US visa. Previous experience with RT-FLEX engines.
Additional details:
The contract offered is for 4 months with the possibility of extension for an additional 1 month. The start date is expected to be at the end of March. The salary is 10,050 USD.
