An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Dutch shipowner, through their representative BSC Odessa, for a general cargo vessel of 2600 DWT. This unique position will commence in mid-April in the European region.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities: The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and efficient operation of the propulsion plant and other machinery on board. They will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the engineering department and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Chief Engineer on general cargo ships
  • Deep knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems of the vessel
  • Ability to work independently in a unique position
  • Professional level of English language for onboard communication

Additional Details:

  • Salary: €250-270 per day
  • Contract Duration: 12 weeks
  • Candidate must be located in Ukraine to apply
