Stella Marine Company Ltd is looking for qualified professionals to take on the role of Chief Engineer on a general cargo vessel. This ship has a deadweight of 9800 tonnes and was built in 2012. The joining date is scheduled for 28th September 2025, with a contract duration of 4 months.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for supervising and maintaining the engineering systems of the vessel, ensuring the optimal operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment on board. Experience working with heavy fuels is expected, as well as the ability to lead the engineering team in daily operations and emergency situations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum of two contracts of experience in the same position on similar types of vessels. Previous experience with heavy fuels. Stable maritime service. Chief Engineer certification (over 3000 kW) and valid certificates. Good level of English.

Additional Details:

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of 6500-7500 USD. The work location will be in Ukraine.
