Description of the role and key functions: An opportunity is available for the position of Chief Officer on board an Oil/Chem Tanker weighing 73,720 tonnes built in 2008. The Chief Officer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the vessel, managing the loading and unloading of products, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the crew at all times. Responsibilities include planning and executing deck operations and working closely with the captain to make strategic decisions.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in the role of Chief Officer is required, preferably on oil or chemical tankers. It is essential to have the relevant maritime certifications to operate on this type of vessel. Leadership skills, ability to work in a team, and knowledge of liquid cargo management will be valued.
