Description of the Position and Key Functions: A position is available for a Cook on board a Refrigerated Cargo Ship specializing in juice transport. This ship operates in the trading areas of South America, the United States, and the European Union. Responsibilities include preparing meals for the crew, ensuring compliance with onboard food safety standards. The selected candidate will join the team starting on September 15 in Newark.

Requirements and Qualifications: Age limit: 50 years. Minimum 12 months of experience in the position. Certificate of Competency (COP) as a Ship Cook. Valid documentation (Passport, Seaman’s Book, and STCW certificates) with a minimum of 6 months validity. US C1-D1 Visa. Good level of English. Experience with mixed crews. Full vaccination. Tanker Sailor certificates are not required.

Additional Details: The contract is for a duration of 5 months with a possible variation of (+/-1 month).
