An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician (ETO) for a 2016-built KAMSARMAX bulk carrier, with a deadweight of 82,042 tons and a MAN B&W 6S60ME-C8 main engine, built in Korea.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems on board the vessel. Key functions include overseeing the operation of equipment, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic systems, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of the vessel.

Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role on board vessels of a similar type. Proficiency in conversational and technical English.

Additional Details: The contract offered is for 4 months with the possibility of a 2-month extension. Joining is expected in May. The established salary is £6500 or equivalent in euros.
