Requirements

The candidate must have 24 months of experience as an ETO on AHTS DP2 vessels. Nationality must be from one of the following countries: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Honduras, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Ghana, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Electronic Technical Officer (ETO) on an AHTS DP2 vessel, according to the international STCW convention, include managing and maintaining the ship’s electronic and electrical systems, ensuring the proper functioning of communication and navigation equipment, as well as supervising the safety and efficiency of onboard electrical systems.
