Responsibilities

• ETO (Electro-Technical Officer): Maintenance and supervision of the vessel’s electrical and control systems. According to STCW, typical functions include management of power systems, automation, and electronic navigation equipment.
• 3/O (3rd Deck Officer): Assistance with navigation watches, loading/unloading operations, and deck maintenance. According to STCW, typical functions include bridge watchkeeping, handling of safety equipment, and supervision of tank loading operations.
• FTTR (Fitter – Adjuster/Mechanic): Maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical systems. According to general industry knowledge, functions may include maintenance of pumps, valves, piping systems, and tanker-specific loading equipment.
