We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a Japanese-built Bulk Carrier, with a DWT of 38,000 and manufactured in 2014. This position requires availability to join the crew immediately, with a planned joining date of February 25, 2025. The contract duration is 5 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional month.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the propulsion system and auxiliary equipment on the vessel. They must ensure compliance with safety regulations and energy efficiency, as well as lead a team in a mixed crew environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
– Demonstrable experience on Bulk Carrier ships.
– Suitable qualification for the Chief Engineer position.
– Ability to work effectively in a mixed crew environment.
