Job Listing: 2nd Engineer on Bulk Carrier
Trident Maritime is seeking a 2nd Engineer for a Bulk Carrier with a deadweight of 79,410 tonnes. The main responsibility involves maintaining and operating the MAN B&W 7S50MC-C engine, with a power of 11,060 kW. The role includes ensuring the proper functioning of the engine and auxiliary equipment, as well as collaborating with the rest of the mixed crew in onboard engineering operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Fluency in English
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Maritime engineering education
- Demonstrable skills in handling similar engines
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Additional Details: The contract is for a duration of 4 months, with a possible extension of +/- 1 month. A competitive salary of £7300-£7500 per month is offered. The embarkation date is set for the 15th of October 2025.
