Description of the role and key responsibilities: This position focuses on operating crawler cranes in offshore environments, aboard submersible, construction, or heavy lift vessels. Responsibilities include executing lifting operations, deck coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in offshore operations.
Requirements and qualifications: – Demonstrated experience in operating crawler cranes in offshore environments. – Valid and up-to-date IMCA crane operator logbook is mandatory. – Stage 3 certification for Offshore Crane Operator from a recognized body (e.g., OPITO, DNV, Lloyd’s Register). – Familiarity with offshore lifting operations and adherence to safety regulations (LOLER, HSE). – Valid offshore survival training (BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS). – Valid offshore medical certificate (OGUK or equivalent). – Strong knowledge in lift planning, equipment inspection, and deck coordination. – Ability to work in dynamic marine environments with multinational teams.
