Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a MOTORMAN for a general cargo vessel. Responsibilities include maintaining and operating the ship’s machinery, ensuring its efficient and safe operation throughout the journey. Candidates should be familiar with inspecting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment on board.
Requirements and qualifications: Candidates are expected to have previous experience in similar roles within the maritime sector, particularly on general cargo ships. Technical training in mechanics or maritime engineering is highly valued, as well as skills in teamwork and problem-solving. The crew consists of members from the EU, Ukraine, and Georgia.
