Second Deck Officer (JDPO) for Geotechnical Drilling Vessel in the Netherlands – WRS
Description of the position and key functions: The company WRS is looking for a Second Deck Officer (JDPO) to work on a geotechnical drilling vessel in the Netherlands. The incorporation is scheduled for September 2, with work rotations of 8 weeks. Responsibilities include managing and supervising navigation operations under the direction of the Bridge Chief, as well as assisting in daily activities related to the vessel’s dynamic positioning.
Requirements and qualifications: Unlimited DP Certificate. Unlimited OOW Certificate. Valid STCW certificates. Medical certificate for seafarers. Seaman’s book in order. Drug and alcohol test report conducted in the last 6 months or to be carried out before incorporation.
Additional details: Selected candidates will work in 8-week rotations. It is essential that the candidate can demonstrate a high level of competence in handling tasks related to dynamic positioning and geotechnical drilling operations.
