Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Officer for a container ship with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 21,566 tons, built in the year 2000. The main responsibilities of the position include supervising daily navigation operations, cargo management, and maintenance of the ship’s communication and safety equipment. The incorporation is scheduled for August 31, 2025.
Requirements and qualifications: An excellent level of English and a solid professional knowledge in the maritime sector are essential. Previous experience on similar cargo ships will be valued.
Additional details: The contract duration is 6 months, with a possible variation of +/- 1 month. The offered salary is 3600 USD per month. The crew on board consists of personnel from Eastern Europe and Indian crew members.
