Job description and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Seismic Mechanic for a seismic research vessel (ST 324) with 3-D/2-D seismic survey and source capabilities. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of seismic equipment. The expected start date is April 13, 2025.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience on seismic research vessels in a similar position.
  • Previous experience with Gator and Glink is essential.
  • STCW 2010 documentation package and additional certificates such as BOSIET/HUET, CA-EBS, and required medical tests (including dental test, Hepatitis A and B, and Tuberculosis).
  • Marlins test in English with a score of 85% or higher.
  • Nationality: Any nationality is accepted.

  • Operating area: Gulf of Mexico.
  • Salary: £552 per day.
  • Rotation: 6 weeks of work followed by 6 weeks of rest.
  • Visa: B1OCS required.
