Requirements

– Citizenship of one of the following countries: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Honduras, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Ghana, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon
– Minimum 15 months of experience as a Third Engineer on PSV DP2 vessels
– Certificate of Competency as Unlimited Third Engineer

Responsibilities

According to the international STCW convention, typical duties of a Third Engineer on a PSV DP2 vessel include supervising the engine room, maintaining engines and auxiliary systems, and assisting in managing the vessel’s operation under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.
