Are you an experienced Second Officer looking for a new opportunity? A Dutch shipowner is urgently seeking a Second Officer for a general cargo ship with a capacity of 4600 deadweight tonnes. The role will be based in Europe. Key responsibilities include supervising and operating navigation equipment, assisting in ship maneuvers, and working closely with the First Officer to ensure the safety and efficiency of daily operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Relevant certifications for working on general cargo ships
  • Knowledge of modern navigation systems
  • Ability to work well in a team under demanding conditions

This contract is for 10 weeks, starting on August 10, 2025, with a monthly salary of £3,500. Please note that only candidates located in Ukraine will be considered for this position.
