Job Opportunity: Chief Engineer for General Cargo Vessel
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a general cargo vessel with a deadweight of 1815 DWT. The selected individual will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems on board, ensuring efficient and safe vessel operation. Specific functions include supervision of main and auxiliary machinery, as well as management of the engineering team.
Requirements and qualifications: Solid experience as an engineer on similar vessels is required for this position. Additionally, a good level of English is essential for effective communication in international environments.
Additional details: The contract is for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extending for an additional month, depending on operational needs. Start date is scheduled for the end of October, in week 43. The offered salary is 5,500 EUR.
