Mate for PSV in UK Inland Waters
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Mate (Able Seaman) to join a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in the UK inland waters. The role involves a continuous rotation of 4 weeks on duty and 4 weeks off. Key responsibilities include cargo handling, general vessel maintenance, and assisting in safety operations.
Requirements and qualifications: Certificate of Competency (CoC) II/5 as Mate. STCW/ENG-1 seafarer medical certificate. Designated Security Functions Competency Certificate. Basic Safety Training (STCW). Competency in Survival and Rescue Boats, except fast rescue boats. Banksmanship/Slinging certification. Previous experience on a platform supply vessel. Right to work in the UK.
Additional details: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK due to the vessel’s location in the country’s inland waters.
