Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 63,000 DWT Bulk Carrier built in 2012. The main functions include managing and supervising the proper functioning of the engineering team, maintenance and repair of the ship’s machinery, as well as managing the technical personnel on board.
Requirements and qualifications: A good level of English is required. Previous experience as Chief Engineer on Bulk Carrier ships is essential, as well as demonstrated competencies in leadership and team management. Specific training in maritime engineering will be valued.
Additional details: The salary ranges between 9,500 and 10,000 USD. The contract is for 5 months, plus an additional month. Immediate boarding availability is required.
