Requirements

– Availability to work flexible hours and be available for emergencies
– Preferably previous experience aboard private yachts or other vessels of similar size
Responsibilities
The Marine Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all technical systems on the yacht. Key responsibilities include:
- Engine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all engines, pumps, compressors, etc., ensuring the vessel’s operability at all times.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and use of spare parts to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members to ensure the overall safety and efficiency of the vessel.
- Participate in other tasks related to maintaining the vessel in good condition, including cleaning, painting, varnishing, deck work, mooring operations, navigation watches, and any other ship-related work.
