Requirements
The candidate must have 24 months of experience as a Chief Engineer on DP2 AHTS or PSV vessels and hold STCW III/2 COC and DP Maintenance certificates. Responsibilities
Typically, according to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of a Chief Engineer on a DP2 AHTS vessel include supervising and managing the maintenance and operation of all propulsion and machinery systems on the vessel, ensuring operational safety and efficiency, as well as managing the engineering team on board.
