BARKLAV is seeking a Gangway Operator to join the team of their client on their modern offshore fleet of W2W vessels operating in the North Sea.

Requirements

The company requires previous experience as a Gangway Operator and First Class Bridge Seafarer / Crane Operator, as well as a valid Level 3 Crane Operator Certificate and a valid First Class Bridge Seafarer Licence.

Responsibilities

Typically, in accordance with the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of this position on this type of vessel include the safe operation of the gangway for the transfer of personnel between the vessel and offshore structures, as well as assisting with deck tasks and crane operations in accordance with established safety practices.
