Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Third Engineer Officer (3E) to join a container vessel operated by Amergo Group. This position offers a competitive monthly salary of $3500-4000 and involves a standard 4-month contract (±1 month depending on experience). Requirements
- Valid Merchant Marine Engineer Officer qualification or equivalent, in compliance with STCW Convention
- Experience in the rank of Third Engineer Officer
- Good level of English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Supervision of engine room operations under the direction of the Chief Engineer
- Maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary equipment
- Management of control and automation systems
- Compliance with safety and environmental regulations in accordance with STCW standards
Required Documentation
- Valid Certificate of Competence (CoC) for the rank
- Updated STCW documentation (including basic and advanced courses)
- Seaman’s passport and necessary visas
- Medical fitness certificate
