Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Deckhand with specialised crane and gangway operation capabilities for an advanced offshore vessel operating under the Norwegian International Ship (NIS) register. This is a permanent cooperation role with a leading maritime crewing agency on behalf of a long-term client.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Permanent cooperation (rotation: 5 weeks on board / 5 weeks on shore)
- Vessel Type: Advanced offshore vessel (possible assignment to other advanced vessels in the fleet)
- Location: Worldwide projects (NIS-flagged offshore vessel)
- Hiring Company: Mercator Crewing Sp. z o.o. (on behalf of a long-term client)
- Required Training: STCW training for Deckhand (II/5) and specific operator certifications
- Benefits: Balanced rotation (5 weeks work/5 weeks rest), modern fleet operating globally
Requirements
- Solid offshore experience in similar positions
- Valid Deckhand Certificate (STCW II/5)
- G5 Crane Operator Certificate or Stage 3 Uptime
- Stage C3 Gangway Operator Certificate (competencies in other systems will be considered)
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid Medical Certificate of Health
- Good level of English (requires Marlins test)
- HUET / CA-EBS / Shoulder Measurement certificates
- VHF / SRC Certificate
- Crowd Management knowledge
- Designated Security Duties awareness
- EU nationality (inferred from similar company offers)
Responsibilities
- Crane operation on offshore vessel
- Gangway operation on offshore vessel
- General deckhand duties according to STCW
- Possible assignment to other advanced vessels in the fleet
