Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Captain on merchant vessels
- Demonstrable experience as Captain on container vessels

Responsibilities
- Command and overall responsibility for the vessel, crew, and cargo
- Compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL regulations and safety codes
- Navigation planning and port operations
- Administrative and communications management of the vessel
- Supervision of container loading, unloading, and stowage

- Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Seaman’s Book
- Medical certificates (including psychophysical fitness certificate)
- STCW training certificates (including advanced firefighting, personal survival, etc.)
- Valid passport and necessary visas
