Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for an Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS) Non-DP position within an offshore fleet. This role offers a competitive daily rate and operates on a rotation basis.

Offer Details

  • Salary: 380-400 USD per day
  • Location: Any location (embarkation in QE LNG operational area – Qatar)
  • Contract: Rotation contract
  • Vessel Type: Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS) Non-DP

  • Required Training: Engine officer training with CE certification or higher
  • Benefits: Rotation of 6-8 weeks onboard/rest

Requirements

  • Experience as Chief Engineer on AHTS vessels
  • Certificate of Competency CE or higher
  • STCW 10/95 package
  • BOSIET
  • CA-EBS
  • Offshore medical certificate
  • English level: Marlins test 85% or higher
  • Nationality: Any

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and maintenance of the vessel’s engine plant
  • Management of the engine department and associated crew
  • Compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Coordination with the Captain and other officers for anchor handling and towing operations
