Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Second Engineer
- Experience as a Second Engineer on merchant vessels
- Good level of English
- Experience with MAN B&W ME main engine (BHP 13100)
Responsibilities
- Supervision and maintenance of the engine room under the direction of the Chief Engineer
- Management of the vessel’s propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Compliance with safety and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL)
- Coordination with the deck crew for safe operations

- Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Seaman’s book
- Medical certificates (including international family medical insurance)
- Valid passport
- Updated STCW certificates
