Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer in the operation and maintenance of propulsion plant and auxiliary systems
- Supervise the engine room during watchkeeping duties, in accordance with STCW requirements
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery
- Monitor operational parameters and maintain engine room logbook entries
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL)
