This role involves sourcing and supplying marine fuels to a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers in the marine fuel industry.
- Negotiate and execute fuel supply contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to optimise trading strategies.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of fuel.
- Manage credit risk and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marine fuel trading or supply.
- Proven track record of achieving commercial targets and building a client base.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Houston and US Gulf Coast bunker market.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
