Description of the role and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer to work on a container ship with a deadweight of 37,000 tonnes. Responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of the main MAN-B&W 7L engine, ensuring its optimal and efficient functioning. The engineer will work in coordination with the rest of the technical team to ensure safety and compliance with maritime regulations.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a Second Engineer, preferably on container ships. Knowledge in handling and maintenance of MAN-B&W engines. Certification and documentation up to date for working onboard.
