A position description and key functions: An experienced Electrician is required to work on a bulk carrier built in 2012 with a deadweight of 50,000 tonnes and equipped with four Mac Gregor GLB 3627-2 electro-hydraulic cranes. The selected candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance and repairs on board, ensuring the proper functioning of the ship’s electrical systems.

Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in similar positions on bulk carriers. US visa required. Good level of English and ability to work in a mixed crew. Experience working on similar vessels.

Additional details: Salary offered: USD 5500. Contract duration: 6 +/- 1 months. Expected joining date in mid-May. Main engine: MAN-B&W 6S50MC-C8.2 T II, 7500 kW. Engine room crew: Chief Engineer (CE), Second Engineer (2E), Third Engineer (3E), Fourth Engineer (4E), Electrician, Fitter, Wiper.
