Description of the position and key functions: A Motorman is required to embark on a general cargo vessel with a deadweight of between 3000 and 5000 tonnes. Main responsibilities include the maintenance and supervision of propulsion systems and machinery, ensuring optimal operation at all times, as well as collaborating with the technical team for troubleshooting.
Requirements and qualifications: Demonstrable previous experience in the role of Motorman aboard general cargo vessels. Solid knowledge in naval mechanics and propulsion systems. Ability to work with multinational crews from the EU, Ukraine, and Georgia.
Additional details: Start date: 29th May 2025. Contract duration: 4 +/- 1 month. Salary: between 1669 and 2000 euros per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
