Engine Room Technician (3/E) on FPSO Unit – Rotating Contract in Africa
Description of the role and key responsibilities: We are looking for an Engine Room Technician (3/E) to work on an FPSO unit operating in Africa. The candidate will be responsible for the surveillance, control, and safe maintenance of the mechanical equipment in the engine room and propulsion equipment. It is necessary to maintain routine documentation as required by the company. Additionally, when necessary, the candidate will act as Maintenance Supervisor (MS) or Ballast Control Operator (BOX), as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28).
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role on FPSO units. EOOW Competency Certificate. STCW certificates. BOSIET qualification.
Additional details: The contract is for 12 months with rotations of 28/28 days. Information regarding the daily salary is available at our office, along with various insurances.
