Position Available: Captain for Jack Up Barge at Navis Ship Management in Qatar
Are you an experienced Captain looking for a new challenge? Navis Ship Management is currently seeking a Captain to work on board a Jack Up Barge operating in Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of the vessel, overseeing all on-board personnel, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
Key responsibilities include managing daily vessel operations, coordinating critical navigation maneuvers, and maintaining safety standards at all times. To be considered for this position, you must hold an unlimited Captain’s license and IMCA DP registration, with a minimum of 24 months of experience as a Captain on a self-propelled Jack Up Barge.
Preference will be given to candidates with an updated CV detailing maritime service, valid STCW certificates, proof of COP and homologation, a valid medical certificate, full Covid-19 vaccination, and references from previous employers.
This contract opportunity offers a duration of 60 days, with an immediate start date.
