Description of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
The 3rd Engineer is responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion systems and auxiliary machinery. Duties include overseeing engine operations, ensuring compliance with onboard safety regulations, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the vessel’s operational and safety during the campaign in UK waters.
Requirements and Qualifications:
It is essential to have the right to work in the UK. Candidates must have the following certifications and documents:
- COC Engine Officer Class 4
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Security duties certification
- Medical certificate
- Knowledge of low/high voltage on ships
- Valid passport
- Seaman’s book
- Engine Room Resource Management (ERM)

This position is temporary, covering a specific period from 6th to 20th August, and requires full availability during those dates.
