Description of the role and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Officer for a Suezmax-type crude oil tanker, built in South Korea in 2010, with a deadweight capacity of 157,488 tons. The main responsibilities in this role include supervising loading and unloading operations, as well as managing the deck team.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 months of experience in the same rank and type of vessel (Suezmax). In addition, a good command of English, both spoken and written, is required.
Additional details: The contract is for 4+1 months, with embarkation scheduled for July. The salary offered ranges from £11,000 to £11,500, with an additional bonus of £1,100.
