Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a 2nd Engineer to work aboard a Bulker vessel. Responsibilities include the supervision and maintenance of the propulsion systems and other main equipment on board, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the MAN B&W ME engine.
Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must have previous experience in a similar position aboard Bulk Carriers, with a strong knowledge of MAN B&W ME engines. The ability to work in a team is valued, as the entire crew is Ukrainian.
Additional details:
– Start date: Between April 10th and 18th, 2025.
– Contract duration: 4 months, with the possibility of extension +/- 2 months.
– DWT of the vessel: Between 63,000 and 82,000 tonnes.
– Year of construction: 2019-2021.
– Free employment contract.
– Salary: 7300 USD per month.
