Seeking a 2nd Engineer to join a container ship with a carrying capacity of 22,071 DWT. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and efficient operation of the ship’s machinery, overseeing the main and auxiliary propulsion systems, and collaborating with the onboard engineering team. The main engine is a MAN B. & W., on a ship built in 2013 in China.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Proficiency in English at a professional level.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank.
Additional details: Salary range from £5,700 to £6,100. Contract duration: 4 +/- 1 months. Start date: Early April. Current crew on board: Eastern Europeans and Filipinos.
