Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified 3rd Engineer for a DP3 (Dynamic Positioning Level 3) offshore construction vessel operating worldwide. This is a temporary contract position of approximately 6 weeks, commencing in Taiwan.

Required Qualifications
- Engine Officer Certificate (STCW Regulation III/1 or equivalent) with specialisation for mechanically propelled vessels
- BOSIET Certificate (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
- GWO Sea Survival Certificate
- Experience in the same rank (3rd Engineer) on similar vessels (offshore/construction)
Responsibilities
- According to STCW, typical 3rd Engineer duties include: assisting the Chief Engineer in engine room operations, maintenance of auxiliary systems, engine watches, and supervision of engines and equipment under the direction of the 2nd Engineer.
- On DP3 offshore vessels, additional duties may include support for dynamic positioning systems, subsea construction equipment, and specialised loading/unloading operations.
