Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer and senior officers in the operation and maintenance of propulsion plant and auxiliary systems
- Supervise the operation of machinery and engineering equipment
- Perform engine room watches according to established watch schedule
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of propulsion systems, electrical generation and ship services
- Compliance with onboard safety and environmental procedures
