Requirements
- European Union (EU) nationality
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for 4th Engineer Officer (4E)
- Previous experience on bulk carriers (recommended)
- Documentation in order according to international maritime regulations
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer and senior officers in the operation and maintenance of the propulsion plant and auxiliary systems
- Stand engine room watches and supervise equipment operation during navigation and in port
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to the vessel’s maintenance plan
- Collaborate in the management of engine room spare parts and consumables
- Comply with safety and environmental protection procedures (e.g. MARPOL, SOLAS)
Required Documentation
- Certificate of Competency (CoC) as 4th Engineer Officer (4E)
- Seaman’s Book (LIM) or equivalent document
- Updated STCW certificates (including basic training, safety, etc.)
- Medical fitness certificate for navigation
- Valid passport and visas if required
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
