AB (Able Seaman) on SCOV DP2 – Navis Ship Management – North Sea

Position Overview

Navis Ship Management is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join the crew of a SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. This is a temporary contract position with an immediate start date.

Vessel & Contract Details

• Vessel Type: SCOV DP2 (Subsea Construction & Offshore Support Vessel, Dynamic Positioning 2)
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Sailing Area: North Sea
• Join Date: 10th May
• Wages: Negotiable

Requirements

• Nationality & Work Rights: Only EU Nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit OR Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status will be considered.
• Certifications: Must hold a valid First/Second Class Seaman License and HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) with CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System).
• Experience: Minimum of 12 months of actual on-board experience in the rank of Able Seaman (AB) on similar types of vessels.
• Documents Required for Application:
  1. Updated CV with detailed sea service records.
  2. Certificate of Competency (COC) with Endorsement and all valid STCW certificates.
  3. Copy of passport.
  4. Copies of all pages of the Seaman’s Book, showing sea service evidence for each vessel as detailed in the CV.
  5. References from previous employers.
  6. Valid medical certificate.
