Responsibilities
- General deck duties under supervision of the Bosun
- Navigation watchkeeping
- Maintenance and preservation of deck, equipment and rigging
- Loading/unloading operations on tanker vessel (chemical/oil)
- Mooring and unmooring manoeuvres
- Firefighting and emergency control according to vessel procedures

- Able Seaman (AB) certificate
- STCW documentation (including basic and advanced training)
- Medical fitness certificate for seafarers
- Valid passport
- National identity card
- Specific tanker vessel training certificates (e.g., chemical/petroleum product courses)
