We are seeking an Assistant Electro-Technical Officer (Assistant ETO) for modern vessels, Service Operation Vessels (SOV), or Offshore Construction Vessels (OCV). This position offers worldwide rotation with a balanced work schedule.

- Salary: 6,472 EUR/month (tax-free)
- Location: Worldwide (joining vessels in the fleet)
- Contract: Maritime contract with 6 weeks on board / 6 weeks ashore rotation. Initial contract until 01.04.2026.
- Vessel Type: Modern vessels, SOV (Service Operation Vessels), or OCV (Offshore Construction Vessels). In the offshore sector, these vessels typically feature advanced electrical and automation systems.
- Hiring Company: Brothers Shipping (maritime recruitment agency based in Bangladesh)
- Required Training: Specific maritime electro-technical training with STCW III/7 certification. Additional training in modern vessel systems is valued.

Requirements
- Category A1 Electro-Technical Officer Certificate or ability to apply for it (reimbursable by the shipowner)
- Experience in the position on modern vessels, SOV, or OCV (desirable)
- Electro-Technical Rating Certificate of Competency (COP STCW III/7) mandatory
- Availability for worldwide rotation
Responsibilities
- As an Assistant Electro-Technical Officer (ETO), according to STCW, typical functions include assisting in the maintenance and repair of the vessel’s electrical, electronic, and automation systems under the supervision of the senior Electro-Technical Officer.
- On modern vessels/SOV/OCV, it is common to work with electric propulsion systems, dynamic positioning (DP) equipment, and integrated control systems.
