Requirements
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of mandatory experience on similar vessels in the position of Bosun. An updated CV with maritime service details, valid COC and STCW certificates, passport copy, seaman’s book with details of each embarkation, references from previous employers, and a medical certificate must be presented.
Responsibilities
According to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of a Bosun on this type of vessel typically include supervising deck operations, maintaining equipment and safety on board, as well as coordinating the crew under their command.
