Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bosun for a temporary position on a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) operating in the Middle East. The role involves leading deck operations and ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of the vessel. This is a contract position starting on 21 April 2026 for a duration of 5 weeks.
Requirements
- Valid STCW certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bosun on similar vessels
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise deck crew and coordinate daily operations
- Oversee maintenance of deck equipment and machinery
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Assist with cargo handling and dredging operations as required
- Maintain accurate logs and reports
