Position Overview
Oilmar DMCC is looking for a results-oriented Bunker Trader (Mid to Senior level) to join its strategic office in Seoul, South Korea. As Oilmar continues to expand its global footprint, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to drive our bunker trading operations in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers in the bunker industry.
- Execute bunker fuel trades, ensuring profitability and risk management.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with counterparties.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bunker trading or related commodities trading.
- Proven track record of achieving trading targets and building a client portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of the bunker fuel market, including pricing mechanisms and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Korean (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
