We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessels without DP (Dynamic Positioning) operating in offshore environments in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This position offers a competitive daily rate and a favourable rotation schedule.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as Chief Engineer on offshore vessels
  • Minimum 6 months of experience on the same type of vessel (AHTS)
  • National Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC) with unlimited endorsement

Responsibilities

According to STCW, typical functions include: supervision of the engine department, maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, management of fuel and lubricants, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and coordination with the Captain in offshore operations.
